Tools for the Dysregulated, Tired & Trying
A lived experience-informed, trauma-informed resource supporting understanding, regulation and recovery from Complex PTSD.
What is included?
The CPTSD Toolkit is an accessible resource supporting people to better understand Complex PTSD, trauma responses and emotional regulation through psychoeducation, reflection and practical exercises.
The toolkit is designed for people affected by complex trauma, as well as supporters, students and professionals seeking to develop their understanding of trauma-informed approaches.
The CPTSD Toolkit combines psychological knowledge, lived experience perspectives and practitioner feedback to create a resource that aims to be accessible, compassionate and practical.
About the workshops
The CPTSD Toolkit workshops provide an opportunity to explore themes from the resource through guided discussion, psychoeducation, reflection and practical exercises.
Each workshop focuses on a different aspect of complex trauma, supporting participants to develop understanding, explore strategies and connect with others in a supportive environment.

The session will introduce the background behind the toolkit, including the importance of trauma-informed, accessible resources for people living with complex trauma. It will explore how psychological knowledge, lived experience and practical approaches can be brought together to support greater understanding, self-reflection and recovery.
The workshop will also provide an opportunity for discussion, feedback and shared learning with practitioners and people interested in improving support for those affected by complex trauma.
This event represents an important step in the continued development of the CPTSD Toolkit, alongside ongoing research, publication and collaboration with professionals and communities.
